11. Journal of Youths in Science
Sciences
JOURNYS was founded eleven years ago when students noticed a gap in mainstream science publications. Although there were plenty of science journals available for professional researchers, as well as science articles written for lay audiences, there was nothing available for high school students who had already begun their science education and wanted to broaden their knowledge. Additionally, most magazines were not published by young adults, so there was no way for high school students to access the publication process from a scientific viewpoint.
